There's a First Time for Everything/There's Always a First Time

Meaning:
      The idiom "there's a first time for everything /there's always a first time" means that though something hasn't happened, it is still possible that it could happen.


Example:
      Joe claims that he hasn't eaten brussels sprouts for 5 years. But there's always a first time.
