Idiom of the Day: Deus Ex Machina

Meaning:
      The idiom "deus ex machina" is a fast way to solve a problem in a story. However, it usually doesn't make any sense.                                                                                                                                                     

Example:
      The author had to use a deus ex machina to fix his story, however it made the story a bit crazy.
