 Meaning                                                                                                                                               The idiom "not in Kansas anymore" means that someone or something is not in its home environment anymore and is in somewhere not known to him/her.

 Example                                                                                                                                              The soldier woke up, not sure of his surroundings, but he knew one thing: he was definitely not in Kansas anymore.
