Proverbs to Ponder: Never Bite Off More Than Can Chew

Meaning: 
      The proverb "never bite off more than can chew" means that someone must not attempt to do more than you are expected to do.


Example:
      We should have never bitten off more than we can chew when we accepted Mr. Danielson's job to paint his whole mansion.
