Idiom of the Day: Keep your eye peeled/skinned

Meaning:
     When you "keep your eyes peeled or skinned", you remain alert. You watch very carefully, usually because you are expecting to see something or because you think there may be danger.

 Example:
      Keep your eyes peeled for a dog with a blue collar at the carnival.
